Uptown is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization formed to work toward community involvement as we build thriving businesses in the area.  We provide support and training, and give advice and assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners.  We work to build on the legacy of the minority businesses that were in the area and have created a tour of the 40 blocks devasted by the great Fire of 1922.
